| laplage (la ΛplaΛΙ‘Ι) is a networking and dating app for high profile clientele that offers exclusivity and discretion. we wanted to create a fun and new celeb community with an emphasis on writing and journals. our goal is to give people a lighthearted, interactive, and creative home where they can focus on character development and meaningful storylines. please read the rest of our guidelines and feel free to comment the dropbox if you have any additional questions. |
| how to join |

setting up: usernames should be in character, without any underscores, excessive letters or numbers. you can use ooc usernames, but it must be relevant to your celebrity. you need two backdated posts up - one friends only and one contact. your friends only post should be fresh and new for the community. make sure your journal is cleaned out from any past communities it was used in. you don't need a full bio or detailed facts, but we would like to see some basic information listed in your contact post (i.e. your character's full name, age and birthday, occupation, etc.). we do not allow overrides on taken celebrities.
basic etiquette: do not cross the IC/OOC line. Do not godmod. Do not treat someone poorly or act out if you're not getting your way. please bring any serious claims or issues between players to the member dropbox. remember to put anything triggering behind a cut with a clearly visible disclaimer outside of the cut. iC drama is always encouraged and mod approval is not required for major storylines. we just ask you remember that you can't be married one week, divorced the next, and pop a baby out tomorrow. rejection & removal: if your application is deleted, this means you were rejected. we reserve the right to reject any applicants we feel aren't a good fit for the community and may also reject members who have been removed multiple times. comments in the dropbox about rejections will be deleted. the mod team reserves the right to contact any player we feel is handling any situation with excessive immaturity. the use of AI in any capacity will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal. |

intros: once accepted, you have 72 hours to intro in comporta. if you post but don't respond to comments (aka the dreaded "post and run"), you will be removed. we're pretty laid back, so please let us know if you need an extension in the members post! otherwise we'll be forced to assume you're doa. if you are accepted after the 15th of the month, your intro will count as your update for that month when you joined. monthly activity: each month, members will need to fulfill one (1) update requirement. your update can be anything you want! updates are of course: narratives, social media posts, playlists, etc. anything substantial. as long as we see youβve commented other people AND responded to comments others have left you. if you are unable to reach out and comment on the fp, this isn't the community for you. you are encouraged to participate in community activities or anything beyond your own friends and customs. checking in: friends lists should be updated at least once a week, and we'll post the most up-to-date console with adds/removals to make it as convenient as possible. we may do unannounced removals of anyone who hasn't run the button in two or more weeks and run the occasional group activity check on an as-needed basis. |

off site apps: at this time we are not allowing the use of APPS (discord, wire, telegram, etc). please keep everything in your journal and customs. if you are found to be using apps, you will be removed from the community. we would rather everyone interact with journals attached to keep all drama ic and prevent any kind of blurriness or bullying. hiatuses/extensions: please comment the member dropbox with all requests. hiatuses are only meant for when you are unable to be around or active in any way, and you'll be taken off hiatus if the mods become aware of you commenting around the fp and/or in customs. we will allow extensions up to a week. you may not request an extension twice in a row. team effort: we promise to do our best to make laplage an exciting place to be, but no bullshit; our continued success depends on you engaging on the friends page, posting in rps for new connections, don't be afraid to bring new ideas to the table, and treat others with kindness. if all of that interests you, we'd love to have you at laplage! |
